The Roles of the Council of elders in African Communities and in relation to ACT

  1. The elders will preside over Family Re-unions in the community
  2. Overseeing the wellbeing of the community
  3. Advises and guides the community and community leaders.
  4. Facilitating reconciliation

ACT leaders will imperatively rely on the wisdom and guidance of the council of elders in its governance.
