African Centre in Toronto (ACT) is committed to advancing gender equity and addressing systemic barriers that limit the full participation of women and girls. Our work focuses on creating safe, inclusive, and empowering environments where women and girls can thrive.

ACT prioritizes three key areas: ending violence against women and girls, improving economic security and prosperity, and supporting women and girls to take on leadership roles. Through advocacy, education, and community-based programs, we work to promote dignity, safety, and equal opportunity.
